As part of Festival of India in São Paulo a Literary Festival was held at the Livraria Cultura on 07 September 2017. Three pominent writers from india - Shiva Reddy, Shafiq Shauq and Monalisa Jena participated. Prof Cielo Griselda Festino, representing BrIndARC, conducted the event. Consul General Mr. Vijay Singh Chauhan addressed the gathering. Apart from speaking on contemporary Indian literature and reading poems in their mother tongue and in English, all three poets read out poems they had composed congratulating Brazil and its people on its independence day.
Como parte do Festival da Índia em São Paulo, foi realizado na Livraria Cultura no dia 7 de Setembro de 2017 um Festival Literário no qual participaram três proeminentes escritores da Índia - Shiva Reddy, Shafiq Shauq and Monalisa Jena. Professora Cielo Griselda Festino, representando BrIndARC, conduziu o evento. Cônsul Geral Sr. Vijay Singh Chauhan igualmente participou do festival. Além do bate-papo sobre a literatura indiana contemporânea e leitura de poemas na língua materna e inglesa, os três poetas leram poemas que compuseram parabenizando o Brasil e seu povo pelo dia da independência.
